Dear RBC 2024 Ministry Leaders,

Happy New Year! God is truly moving throughout Rehoboth and we are excited about the possibilities in store for 2024.  We have received approval to bring back our “Walk with Jesus” Easter celebration and will need your help.   We are planning this Easter Event for the entire Rehoboth community.

“Walk with Jesus” is a powerfully moving outreach event that will guide our guests through Jesus’ last days on earth. They will travel to Jerusalem for Palm Sunday, sit down for the Last Supper, experience the Garden of Gethsemane, discover the sacrifice of Good Friday, and celebrate freedom from their sins at the empty tomb that first Easter morning.

Stations will be set up and as guests visit each station, they will discover the powerful emotions and sacrifice of Jesus’ last days on earth—and experience the joy of His resurrection!

This is where we need you.  We are asking our ministries to take over a station.  We are here for ideas, suggestions, and limited supplies but would like you to use your creativity and knowledge of God’s word to make your station come to life. There are five stations so smaller ministries may choose to work together. I have attached a video with pictures from 2019 to give you some ideas.  The five stations are:

·         Palm Sunday

·         The Last Supper

·         Gethsemane

·         Good Friday

·         Easter Resurrection

If your ministry choose not to be in charge of one of the five main stations, you may still help in other ways as we plan to have other activities. 

·         Food Station

·         Game Station

·         Egg Dying Station

Or maybe your ministry simply wants to donate candy for children or boiled eggs to dye. We will gladly accept donations.

We want this to be a fun and memorable event for everyone as we reach out to the community to bridge the gap between Christ and the community. We know that this is a big task but we also know that nothing is impossible with our God. Please help us bring this event to life!  It will take place March 23, 2024, the Saturday before Holy Week.
